Allan and Soomi's husband-wife Team stems from a family of real estate professionals with over 40 years of combined experience specializing in Hawaii property. Their success in real estate is due to their strong work ethic and their staunch desire to always protect their client's interest. Their outstanding efforts have repeatedly been recognized nationally by the Prudential Corporation. They were previously awarded the President's Circle Award, given to the top 5% of Prudential Agents nationwide as top producers in 2005, 2006 and 2007. In 2008, they were recipients of the Chairman’s Circle Award, the highest given by Prudential to agents in the top 2% nationwide and who are multi-million dollar producers. |
| In addition to Allan and Soomi’s record as one of thetop producers at Prudential Advantage Realty, Allan is also licensed as &lquot;Broker in Charge&rquot;. As BIC, Allan serves as Prudential Advantage Realty’s primary Contract Manager, responsible for the review and approval of Purchase Contracts and Listing Agreements. Given the level of expertise this position requires, Allan and Soomi’s clients are assured their interests will be well protected. In addition to his role as “Broker in Charge”, Allan also serves as a Trainer for new agents. As a trainer, he is responsible for instilling in new agents the skills necessary for upholding the highest level of standards, customer service, and knowledge our company demands. |

| Soomi is also licensed as a Broker, and as such, also has the ability to review contracts and supervise agents. She is the perfect complement to this powerhouse husband and wife team. Where Allan excels in the technical and legal aspects of Real Estate, Soomi excels in negotiations and understanding client needs. Soomi has over a decade of experience as an executive in the Hotel Industry both in Hawaii and the Mainland and served as the General Manager of several hotels in the Seattle Area . Having spent years in the hotel industry, Soomi knows the importance of anticipating clients’ needs, striving for perfection, and attention to detail. Her upbeat personality, attention to detail, exceptional people skills and tireless dedication to her clients allow her to anticipate her clients’ needs and respond proactively to any challenge that may arise. |

Allan holds a real estate workshop for a company |

Allan and Soomi also regularly hold free public workshops in an effort to educate the public about some of the mistakes to avoid when selling or investing in real estate. These Workshops are interactive and often have experts from other fields such as: a home inspector, 1031 exchange attorney, appraiser, lender etc. Attendees can get real answers to questions that have been nagging them for years, at the same time learning something new. These Workshops are every 4 - 6 weeks and held in various locations for the public’s convenience. Allan and Soomi also hold private workshops for individuals or companies that request them. |
Our Ohana…
Allan was born in Honolulu and his family, the Yee’s and Ako’s have deep ties to the Islands dating back to the great Chinese migration to Hawaii at the turn of the 20th century. After graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in finance, Allan moved back to Oahu to be closer to his family. Soomi is a first generation, Korean-American. She was born in Korea, but came to Hawaii with her parents and three sisters at age 3. She grew up both in Honolulu and Kailua. Soomi attended Mckinley High and the University of Manoa. Soomi and Allan have been married 13 years and have two boys, Jonathan 11, and Nicholas 6 and three Yorkshire Terrier dogs. |
